Firefighters work Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, to extinguish a blaze at the home at 122 Morning Glory St. in North Little Rock.

Authorities are working Friday morning to extinguish a blaze at a North Little Rock home.

At 10:15 a.m., firefighters with the East Pulaski County Fire Department and McAlmont Fire Department were working to extinguish the fire that ignited at 122 Morning Glory St. Smoke could still be seen rising from the home.

No injuries have been reported, East Pulaski County firefighter Terese Hood said.

The home's owner, Shelia Dednam, said she was not at the residence when the fire began. Dednam was nearby at a friend's home when someone who lives on Morning Glory Street arrived and told her that her home was on fire.

"I cried because I lost everything," she said. "Clothes, shoes, everything."

Firefighters had told her that the fire started in her living room, she said.

Dednam said she has lived in the home since she was 2 years old and that she was living alone at the time of the fire.

It was not immediately known what caused the blaze.
