An accident on Interstate 40 westbound between Carlisle and Lonoke caused stop-and-go traffic Friday night, the Carlisle Police Department said.
Arkansas State Police responded to the accident that occurred about 5 p.m. on I-40 westbound near mile marker 175, a dispatcher with the agency said.
Information about how the accident happened or if there were any injuries was not immediately available.
