Ying Ma, author of Chinese Girl in the Ghetto, will speak at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service on Tuesday.
Chinese Girl in the Ghetto is a memoir of Ma’s experience immigrating from Guangzhou, China, to Oakland, Calif.
Ma is also a policy adviser for the Heartland Institute, a free-market think tank based in Chicago.
