OSCEOLA - Authorities arrested an Osceola High School teacher accused of inappropriate sexual contact with at least one male high school student, Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington said Thursday.
Nichole Winberry, 28, of Paragould was charged with four counts of first-degree sexual assault.
Ellington said in a news release that warrants were issued for Winberry after the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline received a report that Winberry had engaged in sexual contact with at least one student.
Winberry surrendered to Arkansas State Police investigator Allen Earnhart in Paragould on Thursday, Ellington said.
Winberry’s arraignment was set for Jan. 31.
