Police name second suspect in southwest LR fatal shooting

Authorities have identified a second suspect in the southwest Little Rock fatal shooting that left one man dead and another man injured, a Little Rock Police Department spokesman said in a statement Sunday afternoon.

Lt. Sidney Allen said police have named 17-year-old Tracy Tivon Brown of Little Rock — in addition to 18-year-old Tracy Trevor Bailey Jr. of Little Rock — as a suspect in the shooting death of Thomas Gilbert, 31, of Little Rock.

Gilbert died Friday night after three men opened fire at him and Little Rock resident Terrence Brison, 32, while they were sitting in a parked truck in the 7400 block of Mabelvale Pike, according to a Little Rock Police Department report. Brison suffered from multiple gunshot wounds, which police said were non-life-threatening, and was taken by MEMS to St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

Police describe Brown as an armed and dangerous black man standing about 5-foot-6 and weighing about 175 pounds.

Bailey is described as an armed and dangerous 5-foot-5 black male weighing 370 pounds, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.

Arrest warrants on two charges of committing a terroristic act and one charge of capital murder have been issued for both suspects.
