Suspects in southwest LR shooting turn themselves in

Third person still sought

Two teens who were wanted in connection for a southwest Little Rock fatal shooting have turned themselves in, the Little Rock Police Department said in separate statements Monday.

The department's spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said that 17-year-old Tracy Brown, of Little Rock, surrendered to police about 6:50 p.m. Sunday after seeing his picture on media outlets. The second suspect, Tracy Trevor Bailey, Jr., 18, turned himself in to authorities around 3 p.m. Monday.

Brown was interviewed by detectives and taken to Pulaski County jail, where he is currently being held on two charges of committing a terroristic act and one charge of capital murder, Allen said.

Both men were identified as suspects in the shooting death of Thomas Gilbert, 31, of Little Rock.

Gilbert died Friday night after three men opened fire at him and Little Rock resident Terrence Brison, 32, while they were sitting in a parked truck at 7414 Mabelvale Pike, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

Brison suffered from multiple gunshot wounds, which police said were non-life-threatening, and was taken by MEMS to St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. Authorities pronounced Gilbert dead at the scene.

Police continue to seek a third person unidentified suspect, according to Allen.
