Rodney Parham bike lanes a meeting topic

Little Rock officials have set a meeting next week to gather public input on plans to add bike lanes on Rodney Parham Road and to build a two-lane traffic circle at Pleasant Valley and Arkansas Valley drives.

On Rodney Parham, plans call for constructing bike lanes from Valley Club Circle north to Cantrell Road, city officials said.

In addition to building the traffic circle, city engineers plan to improve the drainage system at Pleasant Valley along the east side of Kingsbridge Way, officials said.

Representatives from the Little Rock Public Works Civil Engineering Division and the project engineer will be at the meeting, set for 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library, 2015 Napa Valley Drive, to discuss the projects and accept public input.
