A Jacksonville man threatened his live-in girlfriend with a gun Wednesday after becoming upset over how the bed was made, according to a police report.
Anthony Spaulding, 32, faces charges including aggravated assault on a family member and terroristic threatening.
According to a Jacksonville police report, the victim told authorities Spaulding "became angry about how the bed was made" before getting a handgun he kept by the bed and telling her "if she left him he would kill her and her family."
The victim told investigators Spaulding didn't actually point the gun at her but that he "threatened her numerous times" with it, leaving her "in fear of her life," the report said.
Spaulding was arrested about 9:15 a.m. at the couple's residence in the 800 block of Redmond Road. He remained in the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail not yet set.
A Feb. 6 court date is scheduled.
