Women steal $400 worth of LR Carter's store

Little Rock police are searching for two women after they stole an estimated $400 worth of children’s clothing a midtown store.

The theft occurred at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at Carter’s, 416 S. University Ave., according to a Little Rock Police Department report. Two customers walked into the store and grabbed “arms full of merchandise,” the report states.

When they got near the front door, a store employee offered to help them check out but was pushed down by one of the women as they fled the store on foot, running east from the business.

Police are searching for two black women, one described as standing 5-foot-3, weighing 160 pounds and wearing a jean jacket, pink, jeans and brown boots. The second women was 5-foot-5, 180 pounds and wore a black coat, red shirt and black dress pants.
