City officials plan to hold a public meeting to talk about two west Little Rock drainage projects.
The plans call for reconstructing the drainage systems along Ellis Drive and Steven Drive, and along Hinson Road and El Dorado Drive.
At Ellis and Steven drives, city engineers plan to replace corrugated metal storm pipes that have deteriorated. The city also plans to replace the box culvert under Hinson near the El Dorado intersection with one with a higher stormwater carrying capacity.
The project engineer and representatives of the city's Public Works Civil Engineering Division will be on hand to discuss the project at the public meeting, set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Faith United Methodist Church, 9820 W. Markham St. The areas' residents and frequent drivers are invited to attend and provide input about the projects.
