Work to shut U.S. 67 lane in White County

Repairs set between Judsonia, Bald Knob

Repairs will shut northbound traffic on U.S. 67 in White County two days this week, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said Wednesday.

The work will be conducted in a construction zone where traffic has already been reduced to one lane in each direction, highway officials said. The northbound lane will be closed between mile markers 51 and 55, or between Judsonia and Bald Knob, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, the department said.

During those hours, all northbound traffic will be diverted off U.S. 67 at the Judsonia exit (51) and onto Arkansas 157, then to Arkansas 367 through Bald Knob, and will be guided back to U.S. 67 at the Bald Knob/Batesville exit (55).
