Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe has issued an executive order to fly all Arkansas flags at half-staff in honor of a fire chief who died this week.

A news release from the governor's office states that all state flags are to be lowered in remembrance of Trumann Fire Chief Rick Winkles, 53, who died from a heart attack Tuesday after fighting two fires.

Wrinkles had been a full-time employee of the fire department since 1988 and was appointed chief of the Trumann Fire Department in 2004, according to the release.
