A Lonoke County sheriff's office investigator and his wife were arrested and charged Monday with disclosing investigative information to an unauthorized person.
Steve Morgan and Misty Morgan, an administrative employee at the sheriff's office, were fired Monday and then arrested by the Arkansas State Police, according to a news release from Sheriff John Staley. The Morgans each face three felony charges, according to the release.
The arrest stemmed from a complaint received by the sheriff, the Cabot Police Department and the Lonoke County prosecuting attorney's office, the release said.
