One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Little Rock.
Witnesses told police that a motorcyclist traveling east in the 5100 block of Sloane Drive struck a turning semitrailer about 1 p.m., police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police had not identified the victim late Monday.
Further details on the crash were not immediately available. An investigation is ongoing.
Also Monday, Arkansas State Police reported a man died in a single-vehicle crash in Montgomery County.
Bruce Miller, 46, was driving west on Arkansas 88 on Sunday when shortly before 8 a.m. he lost control of his truck while negotiating a curve.
The vehicle exited the road and struck a tree.
Conditions were clear and dry when the crash occurred, according to state police.
