Hope police investigate death as homicide

HOPE — Police in Hope say the death of a man found in his home is being investigated as a homicide.

Police Chief J.R. Wilson told the Texarkana Gazette that the body of 57-year-old Gary Tuberville of Hope was found Wednesday by police and medical personnel responding to a report of an injured person on South Ferguson Street.

Wilson said Tuberville had trauma to his body and that the body was sent to the state Crime Laboratory in Little Rock for an autopsy.
