Boone County Deputies searching for murder suspect

The suspect is a white male approximately 5'7" to 5'11" with gray hair. He was seen on the camera wearing glasses,  Hawaiian print shirt, knee-length shorts, and a ball cap with a Batman logo.

The Boone County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for information regarding a murder in Bear Creek Springs Thursday night, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

Adah Carte, 75, of Bear Creek Springs was found dead at the business she operate called Ozark Emporium located north of Harrison, deputies said. Officer's arrived around 7 p.m. Thursday night after receiving a call from someone concerned about Carte's welfare.

Investigators managed to get video surveillance images from the store's security system and described the suspect as a white male approximately 5'7" to 5'11" with gray hair, deputies said. He was seen on the camera wearing glasses, Hawaiian print shirt, knee-length shorts, and a ball cap with a Batman logo.

The suspect was driving a dark green Ford conversion van with lighter-green accents and stripes, deputies said.
