By Ashley Nerbovig

This article was published July 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.

Interstate 30 will undergo alternating lane closures from Tuesday through Thursday as crews resurface the road, state highway officials said.

The outside, eastbound lane — starting at 65th Street and extending east 2 miles — will be closed Tuesday, according to the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department.

The outside, westbound lane will close Wednesday, and the inside, westbound lane will close Thursday, the department said.

The work will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day, weather permitting, and traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
