HOPE -- Hope Police Department detectives on Monday continued to investigate last week's death of a Hope man.
A suspect has not been named in the killing of 57-year-old Gary Tuberville.
Authorities responded to a home at 302 S. Ferguson St. in Hope about 9 a.m. Wednesday after someone called emergency officials for help, police said. Officers and EMS workers found Tuberville dead inside.
His body has been taken to the state Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.
No new information about the case was available Monday, a department official said. Police also have not released how Tuberville was killed, saying only that "it appeared to be the result of forced trauma to the body."
