Two people have died after a Monday morning shooting in Faulkner County that police are investigating as a possible murder-suicide, authorities said.
Kevin Battle, 50, was found dead and Stephanie Hermes, 32, with a gunshot wound in the head about 10 a.m. at 235 Arkansas 36 outside Vilonia, the Faulkner County sheriff's office said in a statement.
Hermes was airlifted to UAMS Medical Center, where she died at 1:15 p.m. Investigators were told that she and Battle had been in a previous relationship, according to the sheriff's office.
