FAYETTEVILLE — Police have identified a man who drowned at Beaver Lake as 19-year-old Elijah Watson.

Fayetteville television station KHOG reported that Watson was swimming across the lake with two friends Saturday night when he went under the water.

A dive team found his body early Sunday morning. A Benton County Police Department spokesman said officers do not suspect drugs, alcohol or foul play were involved. Police said Watson was not wearing a life jacket.

Authorities have ordered a toxicology report.
