State police find missing man on I-40

Thursday, 10:30 a.m. update:

The Arkansas State Police has found a 54-year-old man who was reported missing Tuesday by his family.

David Eads was found Wednesday on Interstate 40 in good condition, Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said in an email.

He was taken by the Arkansas State Police to his family in Greenbrier, Allen added.

Little Rock police are searching for a 54-year-old man who has been reported missing by his family.

David Eads is described as a white man with gray hair who stands 5-foot-11 and weighs 150 pounds.

Police say Eads is known to use drugs and may be suicidal. A bag belonging to Eads was found at 201 E. Markham St. on Tuesday.

His last known address is 33 Snowden Circle in Greenbrier.

Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis said Eads’ family filed the missing person report at 7:31 p.m. Tuesday. Details about where Eads was last seen weren't immediately available.
