Little Rock Fashion Week continues through Saturday with two major events at the Statehouse Convention Center, Markham and Main streets, Little Rock: “Brandon D. Campbell Presents Bare,” billed as “the first-ever natural fashion show … celebrating beauty and the skin you’re in,” 7 p.m. Friday (doors open at 6, tickets are $30), and “Big Night,” 7 p.m. Saturday, new fall/winter collections by top fashion labels (doors open at 6, “black and white gala style attire,” tickets are $55 VIP, includes appetizers, swag bag and seating closer to the runway; $40 general admission). More than 30 teams scrambled to assemble short films in two days or less for the most recent 48 Hour Film Project, June 27-29, and the project will hold its "Best Of" screening at 7 p.m. Saturday at Ron Robinson Theater, 100 River Market Ave., Little Rock. At 7:30 p.m. today, the Breckenridge Village 12 in Little Rock and the Tinseltown in Benton will screen the cinecast of Grateful Dead Meet-Up at the Movies: Beat Club 4/21/72 (the fourth annual "Grateful Dead Meet-Up at the Movies"), a complete live studio performance on the Beat Club TV program from Bremen, in what was then West Germany, during the band's 1972 European tour. Youth Home will hold its fourth annual fundraising Casino Night and Texas Hold'em Tournament on Saturday in the Genesis Room, Next Level Events, 1400 W. Markham St., Little Rock. The casino portion, 5-9 p.m., will feature craps, blackjack, roulette, slot machines "and other fun-casino style games" with dealer/instructors; for $35, players can earn chips redeemable for tickets to a 9:20 p.m. prize raffle.
