Rachel Marie DiMassimo became the bride of Kevin Edward Griffin at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 12, in Avondale Chapel and Gardens, Bentonville, with Erin Michelle Vonfeldt officiating.
Parents of the bride are Suellen Hare DiMassimo of Maumelle and Ann and Richard Eustace DiMassimo of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Alannette "Billie" and Marvin Boswell Hare of Newport and the late Faye and Nicholas DiMassimo of Little Rock.
The groom is the son of Janet and Richard George Griffin of Jacksonville and the grandson of the late Phyllis and Dale Moore of Grove City, Pa., and the late Edith and Howard Griffin of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Vows for the outdoor ceremony were exchanged under an oak tree. Ferns and white hydrangeas decorated the altar. Antique mason jars filled with flowers were hung from aisle chairs. Nuptial music was by guitarist and vocalist Tyler Yokum and vocalist Ashley Williams.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin gown with an overlay of dotted tulle and beaded Alencon lace and a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, pale pink roses and peach rose buds.
Matron of honor was Hilary Rose DiMassimo of Little Rock, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sara Clark of Little Rock; Danielle Ellington of Rogers; and Renata Shelton and Desiree Easley, both of Fayetteville. Junior bridesmaids were Neveah Bienvenu of Fayetteville and Savannah Spann of Little Rock, both nieces of the bride.
They wore floor-length gowns of coral chiffon with thin ivory shoulder straps, and carried nosegays of pink hydrangeas and peonies accented with peach tea roses.
Flower girls were Kinsey Weisenfels of Grapevine, Texas, niece of groom, and Sophia DiMassimo of Little Rock, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Cayden Weisenfels of Grapevine, nephew of the groom.
Best man was Lee Evans of Fayetteville. Groomsmen were Christopher Todd and Mike Meeks, both of Fayetteville; and Brian Uber and Todd Uber, both of Tulsa. Guests were seated by Louis Weisenfels of Grapevine; James Flaniken of Jacksonville; and Walker DiMassimo of Little Rock, brother of bride.
A reception, also at Avondale Chapel and Gardens, followed the ceremony. Guest tables were covered in ivory cloths with ivory silk overlays and were centered with vintage mercury glass vases filled with white hydrangeas and peach cabbage roses. Savannah Spann, niece of bride, sang a song during the reception with accompaniment by Walker DiMassimo, brother of the bride.
The bride has a bachelor's degree in political science and history from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is a server at Bordinos Restaurant and Wine Bar. She is working on a master's degree in political science at the university.
The groom is a student at UA, working toward a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is a bartender at the restaurant.
The couple will live in Fayetteville after a wedding trip to Mexico.
