I watched the spring game on ESPN3. Brandon Allen played very poorly against his own defense, which is improved but still far from the best in the SEC. I saw absolutely no reason to expect anything different out of Brandon Allen this fall. Allen has two problems that won't go away. 1. His reaction time to each developing play is too long. He needs to make decisions quicker. 2. He ALWAYS eyeballs his primary receiver almost from the snap and doesn't appear comfortable even looking for alternate receivers.
