NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Petroleum Storage Tank Advisory Committee has set a meeting for Tuesday at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality's headquarters in North Little Rock.
Items on the agenda include reports on the financial status of the Petroleum Storage Tank Trust Fund and third-party claims against the fund.
Also on the agenda is consideration of requests for reimbursements for cleanup operations involving petroleum product releases at Eureka Springs, Jacksonville, Marion, Texarkana and Van Buren.
The committee advises and assists the Department of Environmental Quality and the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission concerning administration of the state regulated storage tanks program.
