BINGO BASH

Access Schools event gets fun across, as well as down

Partygoers feasted on catfish and all the fixin's and then settled in with cards and markers for bingo at the eighth annual Bingo Bash on July 17. Hosted by the Access in Action young professionals group at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, the event was a fundraiser for Access Schools.

Steven Roach served as master of ceremonies for the evening's activities, which included 14 rounds of bingo with prizes including wine, jewelry and gift certificates. Corey Gilmore was event chairman.

About 220 people helped raise $19,000 for the school's Tuition Assistance Fund, said Becca Green, director of marketing and communications at the nonprofit.

Access is a school in Little Rock that provides services to more than 450 individuals with developmental delays and learning disabilities, from 6 weeks to 21 years old.
