Wedding vows were exchanged by Emily Rebecca Lambert and Evan Blake Moon at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at Point Dillon Park and Lawn in Dillon, Colo. The Rev. Micah Sturr of Denver officiated.

Tonya and Dr. Robert Lambert of Sherwood are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy and the late A.J. Shirey of El Dorado and the late Eleanor and E. Russell Lambert of Pine Bluff.

The groom is the son of Patrice and Timothy Moon of Murphy, N.C. His grandparents are the late Grace and Virgil Moon of Panama City, Fla., and the late Mary Jo and James King of Milton, Fla.

A wedding arch, on the lawn beside the lake, was decorated with blush and ivory roses and garlands of eucalyptus.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory taffeta gown. The strapless ruched bodice had a sweetheart neckline and a crystal beaded belt. She carried a bouquet of blush and ivory roses and eucalyptus.

Ashley Griffin of Sherwood served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Dr. Amy Robertson of Alamosa, Colo., and Eleanor Lambert of Sherwood, sisters of the bride. They wore pewter chiffon strapless gowns with sweetheart necklines and criss-cross ruched bodices. Their bouquets were filled with ivory and blush roses.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Lainey Jackson and Charlie Jackson, both of San Antonio, and cousins of the bride.

Joseph Moon of Athens, Ga., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Christensen of Denver and Conrad Carey of Athens. Guests were seated by William Lambert and Joseph Lambert, both of Sherwood and brothers of the bride; and Jarryd Baxter and Jon Pierce, both of Snellville, Ga.

A reception at the Silverthorne Pavilion, Silverthorne, Colo., followed the ceremony. Tables, covered in ivory and gold fabrics, were decorated with tall arrangements of roses, candles and lanterns.

The bride completed nursing prerequisites at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a vice president of Pi Beta Phi and received a bachelor's degree in nursing at University of Arkansas of Medical Sciences. She graduated from University of Colorado Hospital New Graduate Residency program and is a registered nurse III in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at University of Colorado Hospital.

The groom completed nursing prerequisites at the University of Georgia in Athens and graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He also graduated from the University of Colorado Hospital New Graduate Residency program. He will attend Wake Forest University, Winston Salem, N.C., for a master's in nurse anesthesia this fall and is a student registered nurse anesthetist.

The couple will reside in Winston-Salem after a wedding trip to Quintana Roo, Mexico.
