This article was published July 28, 2014 at 1:56 p.m.

Henson Place in Bryant will be closed starting Wednesday for the installation of culverts, the city of Bryant said in a statement Monday.

The culverts are being installed to improve drainage and help prevent flooding, city officials said.

The road will be closed until the work is completed, but the city is aiming to complete the project before school starts Aug. 18.

Any questions about the project can be directed to the Bryant Street Department at (501) 943-0468.
