Little Rock police are investigating a fatal shooting in the 3700 block of West 11th Street on Saturday night.
Police received a call about the shooting shortly before 10 p.m. When officers arrived at the location, they found a woman on the ground in front of her residence, according to a police report.
The woman, Tanuyna Wilson, 44, was taken to UAMS Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, according to the report.
Witnesses told police that they heard two gunshots, heard a woman scream and saw a man run north on Oak Street and east on 10th Street.
Police returned to the area Sunday to search for more evidence and locate additional witnesses, police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said.
The assailant had not been located or identified late Sunday.
