SEARCY -- The White County sheriff's office arrested a Judsonia man Saturday in the shooting death of another man.
Prosecuting Attorney Chris Raff said he plans to charge Robert Louis Vestal on Monday with first-degree murder. Authorities have identified the victim as Todd R. Landreth of Searcy, Raff said.
Ages were unavailable late Saturday.
Landreth's body was found Saturday in his vehicle in a wooded area of the county, the prosecutor said.
Authorities believe Landreth was killed outside Vestal's camper-trailer, where officers found blood Friday after someone reported an altercation there, Raff said. No one was at the trailer when officers got there.
Officers have since found a bolt-action rifle, which they believe was used to kill Landreth, Raff said.
