McDaniel approves marijuana ballot wording

By The Associated Press

This article was published June 4, 2014 at 3:56 p.m.

The Arkansas attorney general's office has certified the wording of a ballot proposal that would legalize marijuana in Arkansas.

The Wednesday opinion opens the way for the measure's sponsor, Robert L. Reed, to begin gathering petition signatures in hope of placing the measure on the ballot.

According to the proposal, voters would decide whether to approve making it legal to grow and possess marijuana and all products derived from the cannabis plant.

The measure would be a constitutional amendment, which means backers would have to gather 78,133 valid signatures of registered voters to win a spot on the November ballot.

A long time coming! This would be a plus for our Great State of Arkansas. The benefits, medicinal and other, far out weigh any misrepresented dangers. A great many Arkansans need the opportunity to choose a natural remedy over proven harmful pharmaceuticals for treatment of their illnesses. And it is my honest belief that it is thousands of times safer to use as recreational than already legalized alcohol which kills, maimes, and destroys so many lives.

Yeh, a bunch of maggot infested pot heads running loose in the great state of Arkansas. McDaniel didn't care about the wording, he was just biding his time to help his loosing demo- crap buddies while he still can.

Ask any cop if they would rather deal with someone drunk or high, and 9 out of 10 will say high over drunk. Legalize it, tax it, and stop clogging up the criminal justice system with it.

on face book search “Arkansans For Medical Cannabis” they have a Facebook page… please share it and like it… and stay updated… they said when they have an approved petition .. they will need everyone’s help.. the petition will probably be located for signatures .. where the last petitions were located..in locations through out the state… they are asking that people who support this to please bring 10 voters with you to sign… stay update on this by visiting their face book page … and remember to like and share their page.. to get the word out there… they have a very short time to get the signatures needed to get this on the ballot…
