LITTLE ROCK — An airplane that was having trouble with a flap landed safely at Little Rock's airport on Wednesday afternoon.

Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport spokesman Shane Carter said Wednesday that the Federal Aviation Administration tower had gotten a report of a flap failure on the American Eagle CRJ 200 plane, but it was able to land at 1:33 p.m. without incident.

The flight, which had 46 people on board, was coming into Little Rock from Dallas.

"The plane was able to taxi to its gate on its own power, and the rescue crew was here as a precaution," Carter said.

No injuries were reported.
