3 pipe bombs found in LR home

Three pipe bombs were found at a Little Rock residence Thursday morning, according to a Little Rock Fire Department official.

Capt. Randy Hickmon said Fire Department officials responded around 9 a.m. to 107 Broadmoor Drive, where they found three pipe bombs composed of metal, plastic and other materials.

They remained on the scene until 12:30 p.m. and safely dismantled the explosives, Hickmon said. Officials with the Little Rock Police Department and the Arkansas Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives also responded to the scene.

Hickmon said two people were taken into custody this morning, but their charges and names weren't immediately released.

No injuries were reported.
