Judsonia man fatally shot during dispute

A Judsonia man died Wednesday night after he was shot during a domestic fight, officials said.

About 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, White County sheriff’s officials responded to 141 Capps Road in the Judsonia area and found Willis Terry, 52, who had died from a gunshot wound.

Witnesses told deputies that Terry was shot during a physical assault on his estranged wife, Robin Terry, 40, who had a protection order against her husband.

The two formerly lived at 141 Capps Road together, White County Chief Deputy Phillip Miller said.

No arrests have been made, and detectives are conducting a full investigation, officials said.

Terry’s body will be sent to the Arkansas Crime Laboratory for an autopsy to determine his exact cause of death.
