Lane closures on I-30, U.S. 67, U.S. 167-B set

The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department have announced several lane closures Friday.

The department said crews are repairing the bridge deck on the Arch Street overpass on Interstate 30 in Little Rock. The eastbound, outside lane of Interstate 30 will be closed from mile marker 134, near 65th Street, to mile marker 137, or the I-30/I-530/I-440 interchange, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Crews will resurface four miles of U.S. 167-B, forcing lane closures in Sheridan from U.S. 270/Center Street to just north of the U.S. 167 bypass. The closures will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays from Monday through July 3.

A routine bridge inspection will also force the closure of lanes along U.S. 67 in Donaldson. Crews will inspect the 80-year-old bridge over Pine Street and the Union Pacific railroad track, reducing traffic to one lane, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, weather permitting.
