Arkansas highway officials plan to hold a public meeting next week to talk about a proposal to widen U.S. 64 between Vilonia and Beebe.
The plans call for widening the highway from Turner Road to County Road 5/Ridge Road as part of the Highway and Transportation Department’s Connecting Arkansas Program.
The meeting for the public to discuss the plans, ask questions and offer comments will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Union Valley Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 932 U.S. 64 West in Beebe.
