Chrome tarnished at start

California Chrome trainer Art Sherman didn't formally meet the media after his colt's fourth-place dead-heat finish in the Belmont Stakes, but reporters from at least two publications got Sherman to confirm that the California-bred colt might have "grabbed a quarter" coming out of the gate when his right leg inadvertently kicked his right front leg.
