Wedding vows were exchanged by Rachael Constance Smith and Dennis Ray Curtis Jr. at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, in Pratt Place Inn and Barn, Fayetteville. The Rev. Ben Parkinson of Fellowship Bible Church officiated.
Constance and Dr. Charles Wilson Smith Jr., 2 Chelsea Road, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Amber and Robert Killen of Centerville, Ohio, and Ida and the late Rev. Charles Smith of Asheville, N.C.
Parents of the groom are Evelyn and Dennis Ray Curtis, 3 Edswood Court. His grandparents are Evelyn and the late Ralph L. McQueen of Dermott and the late Pauline and Doyne Curtis of Pelsor.
The altar was decorated with large moss-lined vases holding large branches. Music was by vocalist Brock Short, who sang "When I Say I Do."
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory A-line gown with a tulle overlay. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas and Queen Anne's lace.
Serving as her sister's maid of honor was Amber Smith of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Kelley Dunlap of Little Rock, sister of the groom; Morgan Smith of Little Rock; and Christin Smith of Midland, Texas. They wore strapless Empire gowns of spring green chiffon with sweetheart necklines. They carried bouquets of white hydrangeas, Queen Anne's lace, curly willow and orange ranunculus.
Flower girl was Annette Smith of Little Rock, niece of the bride. Ring bearers were Carter, Mason and Silas Smith of Midland and Cruz, Charles and Set Smith of Little Rock, nephews of the bride; and Grant and Jackson Dunlap, also of Little Rock, nephews of the groom.
The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Dunlap and Isaac Smith, brother of the bride, both of Little Rock; David Watkins of Fayetteville; and Mark Fulmer of Bryant. Honorary groomsman was Jordan Smith of Charleston, brother of the bride. Guests were seated by Thaddeus Smith of Little Rock and Cameron Smith of Midland, brothers of the bride; Jordan Greer of Fayetteville; and John Bragg and Andrew Coy, both also of Little Rock.
A reception at Pratt Place Inn followed the ceremony. The sweetheart table was covered with burlap and held a living moss flower arrangement.
The bride has a bachelor's degree in human nutrition from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She is studying nursing at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and will receive a bachelor's degree in nursing in May 2015.
The groom has a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in finance from UA. He is a financial adviser and branch manager for Stifel Nicolaus.
The couple will reside in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Maui and Kauai, Hawaii.
