Ex-Arkansas Game and Fish chief Durham dies

Former Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Director Hugh Durham IV has died at age 51.

Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston, La., says Durham died June 6 in Ruston. A cause of death was not released.

Durham left International Paper in 2000 to serve as director of the commission. He left the commission in 2003 to become co-owner of a company that provides fire-suppression and fire-management services to the forest products industry.

He's survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, two grandchildren and a sister.
