Behind the scenes: Chefs’ home kitchens

Every house hunter and home renovator wants a so-called “chef’s kitchen.”

High-end appliances (preferably fronted with stainless steel), plenty of counter space (granite counter tops are de rigeuer but occasionally you’ll see somebody “settle” for Carrara marble or even butcher block) and lots and lots of storage, writes Eric Harrison in HomeStyle.

Professional chefs, however, don’t necessarily need all that at home.

See tomorrow’s Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for a peek at the home kitchens of three Arkansas chefs.
