Bridge deck repairs on the Interstate 30 overpass spanning Arch Street will require lane closures next week, state highway officials said Friday.

Crews will close the eastbound, outside lane of the interstate from near 65th Street (mile marker 134) to the I-30/I-530/I-440 interchange (mile marker 137) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

Drivers will be alerted with barrels and warning signs to the work, which had originally been scheduled for completion Thursday but was delayed because of recent storms.
