President Barack Obama finishes his statement on Iraq, Friday, June 13, 2014, on the South Lawn at the White House in Washington. Afterward, the president walked to the Marine One helicopter for a short trip to Andrews Air Force Base, Md., then onto North Dakota.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama on Friday said that Iraq’s government must make a sincere effort to address sectarian differences, or else U.S. military help won’t succeed in curbing the insurgency there.

“We can’t do it for them,” he said.

Obama said the U.S. won’t send troops back into Iraq. But, he said, he’s asked his national security team to prepare a range of other options. He said he’ll review those options in the coming days.

This President is not just unravelling the U.S. He's now working on a global scale.

The President is unraveling the US? What globe do you live on?
Over 4,424 killed and 31,942 injured in Iraq and the republicans want more boots on the ground.
Well, lace up your boots and leave.

I won't beat up on Bush or Obama, but I will say this. These people are cowards and I for one will not help them. They have been fighting each other forever. There is nothing us or anyone can do to change that.

MAR. 20, 2013,
Ten years ago this week, Americans woke up to learn that the United States had invaded Iraq.

They had been told it would cost $50 billion and that it would end soon.

Forty-two days later the President declared Mission Accomplished, and that the U.S. would be greeted as liberators.

That all didn't work out as planned.

What did work out was a luxurious compound in the heart of Baghdad on the banks of the Tigris where the thousands of Americans who would remain behind could work, shop, eat, and relax in a palatial, $750 million embassy.

I wish we could just split this country down the middle and put all of you liberal lunatics on one side. Reason and Free Spirit Man can be their founding fathers.

The blue states would probably jump on that idea since they are floating the stupid red states with their money and having to deal with the equally stupid politicians they send to Washington.

Po, are you now saying that nobody was killed in Iraq? Those numbers that represent real American lives and families came from the DOD website:
defense. gov/news/casualty.pdf

Po- That's per capita. Big difference. Look up which states pay in the most taxes and what those states get back. That is a "truer" representation. I also saw those red states typically have lower taxes. That's because they are being subsidized by the rest of Americans. So, it sounds like the south is a bunch of socialist communists! God, the irony. I also saw the information on the WSJ - a mouth piece for the hillbillies and the rich.
Good try though.
