The Arkansas Bar Association recently announced 2014 award recipients at its annual meeting in Hot Springs:
Presidential Awards went to Garland W. Binns Jr. of Dover Dixon Horne PLLC, Little Rock; John Vines of Wood, Smith, Schnipper, Clay & Vines, Hot Springs; and H.T. Moore of Goodwin Moore PLLC, Paragould.
Golden Gavel Award recipients were Jordan Tinsley of Tinsley & Youngdahl PLLC, Little Rock; Carrie Bumgardner of Hyden, Miron & Foster PLLC, Little Rock; Paul Keith of Gibson & Keith PLLC, Monticello; Eddie H. Walker Jr. of Walker, Shock & Harp PLLC, Fort Smith.
Also, Kathleen McDonald of the Beacon Legal Group, Little Rock; Brad Hendricks of the Brad Hendricks Law Firm, Little Rock; Harold Evans of Williams & Anderson PLC, Little Rock; David Fuqua of Fuqua Campbell PA, Little Rock; and Aaron L. Squyres of Wilson & Associates PLLC.

Arkansas Bar Foundation/Arkansas Bar Association joint award recipients were:
Michael Huckabay Sr. of the Huckabay Law Firm, Little Rock, Outstanding Lawyer Award; Frank B. Sewall of Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Little Rock, C. E. Ransick Award of Excellence; Joseph Hickey of Thomas, Hickey & Shepherd LLP, El Dorado, James H. McKenzie Professionalism Award; and Harry A. Light of Friday, Eldredge & Clark LLP, Little Rock, Equal Justice Distinguished Service Award.
The Pulaski County Bar Association was recognized as an Outstanding Local Bar Association.
