Sheffield and David Duke, 5401 Sherwood Road, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Pam and Don Christian and the late Sheffield Lander Owings of Little Rock and the late Muriel Riley Benson and the late James Richard Duke, both of Hamburg.

Parents of the groom are Kathy Bawcom Coulter and the late Raymond Harold Coulter of Montrose. He is the grandson of Corliss Aubrey Bawcom and the late Nora Faye Fuller Bawcom, both also of Montrose, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Benjamin Coulter Jr., also of Hamburg.

The altar held arrangements of roses, hydrangeas and peonies. Music was by organist Jason Pennington, soloist the Rev. Rick Couch and oboist Lorraine Duso.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory hand-beaded and embroidered overlay of soft netting over a silk charmeuse slip. She carried a cascade of peonies, roses, green hypericum and silver dollar eucalyptus.

Riley Duke Connick of New Orleans served as her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachael Harrison of Austin, Texas, and Tera Huntsman of Jonesboro, cousins of bride; Mallory Hindsley of Newport; Michelle Nichols of Little Rock; Suzannah Spratlin of Holly Grove; Maggie Theodore of Hot Springs; and Emily Walker of Tulsa. They wore purple chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of hydrangeas, stock and hypericum.

Flower girls were Kayla Hicks of Heflin, La., niece of the groom, and Sydney Huntsman of Jonesboro, cousin of the bride. Ring bearers were Owen Croswell of Alexandria, Va., cousin of the bride, and William Hindsley of Newport. Junior attendants were Josie and Abigail Caldarera of Little Rock, cousins of the bride; and Caroline and Rebecca Reno, also of Heflin, Megan Stephens of Monticello and Ashton and Callie Wells of Lake Village, nieces of the groom.

Serving as the groom's honor attendants were David Harrell of Little Rock and Christopher Wells of Lake Village, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were William Christian, also of Little Rock, cousin of the bride; Carter Collins of Nashville, Tenn.; Zachary Gibbins of Benton; Trey Holland of Hamburg; Richard Martin of Crestview, Fla.; and John Smith of Monticello. Guests were seated by Brendan Connick of New Orleans; Larry Nichols, also of Little Rock; Michael Stanley, also of Hamburg; and Colten Reno, also of Heflin, Colby Stephens, also of Monticello, and Blaine Wells, also of Lake Village, nephews of the groom.

A reception at the Junior League of Little Rock Building followed the ceremony. Tables held arrangements of roses, lavender stock and hydrangeas. Music was by Wine and Roses.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in human development and family science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Chi Omega and served as president of the Psi chapter. She has a master's degree in teaching from the University of Central Arkansas at Conway. She teaches kindergarten at Williams Magnet Elementary in Little Rock.

The groom is a candidate for a bachelor's degree in leadership and ministry from Central Baptist College in Conway, with the intent to enroll in seminary upon graduation. He is also a singer and songwriter.

After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will live in Little Rock.
