Divers recover body from car in Beaver Lake

SONORA — Authorities say one person was killed after a car drove off a roadway and into Beaver Lake in Northwest Arkansas.

The Washington County sheriff's office said a fisherman saw a car drive off the bridge about 10 p.m. Sunday. Authorities told Fayetteville television station KHOG that divers recovered a body from the car early Monday morning.

Authorities are working to identify the victim and determine the cause of the wreck.
