Man shot multiple times at LR apartment complex identified

Authorities on Wednesday released the identity of a man shot multiple times in an exchange of gunfire at a Little Rock apartment complex.

Little Rock police say Ronnie Summervile, 29, was taken to UAMS Medical Center after being shot about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at Auxora Arms Apartments, 9101 Auxor Road.

Summervile's condition wasn't known Wednesday morning.

According to a police report, a witness told authorities that Summervile "exchanged the first gunshot" in the shooting between buildings on the south side of the apartment complex, which sits south of Baseline Road and west of Arch Street.

Summervile was found near West 65th Street and Interstate 30 in a Ford Fusion that had been reported to have left the scene. He was taken from there to the hospital for treatment of three to four gunshot wounds, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.

Another vehicle that was reported to have been involved in the shooting, a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria, led police on a chase that "ended when the suspects bailed out near Stoneridge Apartments." The report did not indicate that the suspects were arrested.
