The awards ceremony will be at Northshore Riverfront RV Park in North Little Rock, but fishing will take place at multiple locations along the Arkansas River. Floating: Wacky wannabe sailors will “keep calm and paddle on” at the annual Championship Cardboard Boat Races, 10 a.m. July 26 at Sandy Beach, Heber Springs. Multiple awards, including Pride of the Fleet Award and the Titanic Award, will be given at a celebration that includes a treasure dig, watermelon-eating contest and volleyball tournament.
