Country singer Blake Shelton promises his current tour will be Ten Times Crazier -- no doubt in tribute to the song of the same name, which is on his latest, and eighth, album, Based on a True Story ... . The album came out in March 2013, and he has reported that he is at work on his ninth studio album.

Shelton has rounded up a passel of fellow country musicians for his tour. In fact, he has three opening acts: The Band Perry, newcomers Dan + Shay, and a veteran singer, Neal McCoy.

Shelton is famed not just for his music, but also for his marriage to another country singer, Miranda Lambert, as well as for his role as a coach on the NBC singing competition The Voice. He and Lambert have become the target of tabloid news coverage that continually reports divorce rumors, which the couple deny.

Shelton's No. 1 hits began with his first single, "Austin," and include "The Baby," "Some Beach," "Home," "She Wouldn't Be Gone," "All About Tonight," "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking," "Honey Bee," "God Gave Me You," "Drink on It," "Over" and "Sure Be Cool If You Did."

The Band Perry launched its recording career in 2010 when Kimberly Perry and her younger brothers Neil and Reid Perry released a self-titled debut album, which featured the No. 1 hits "If I Die Young" and "All Your Life," plus the top 10 hits "You Lie" and "Postcard From Paris." The group's second album, Pioneer, released in April 2013, contained the No. 1 hit "Better Dig Two."

Kimberly Perry is a recent bride, having married Texas Rangers' minor league catcher J.P. Arencibia June 12. The couple met in 2012 at the Florida Strawberry Festival, where Perry's band was performing.

Dan + Shay consists of Pennsylvania native Dan Smyers and Arkansas native Shay Mooney, from Natural Dam, near Van Buren. The two men met in December 2012 and began writing together the next day. They released their debut album, Where It All Began, April 1. The album's first single, "19 You + Me," reached No. 7, and the duo's current single is "Show You Off."

Two years ago singer Neal McCoy released XII, his first new album in seven years, with help from his co-producers, Shelton and Lambert. He released his debut album in 1990 and has had two No. 1 hits: "No Doubt About It" and "Wink." In 2005, he had a No. 10 hit, "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On."
