The Villa Marre was the setting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, for the marriage of Jensen Riley Roberts and James Hunter Sample. The Rev. Sidney Sample, grandfather of the groom, officiated.

Parents of the bride are Robyn and Denby Roberts, 4 Summerhill Court. Her grandparents are D. and the late Joe D. Roberts and the late Rosemary and Bill Millican, all of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Leslie and Daniel Sample of Alexander. He is the grandson of Mary and the Rev. Sidney Sample of Bryant and Margaret and Dr. James Hunt of Fayetteville.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a fit-and-flare gown embellished with lace. The gown had a sweetheart neckline and lace cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of orange roses with hot pink spray roses.

Serving as maid of honor was Jordan Rachel Roberts of Little Rock, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole Sample of Bryant, sister of the groom; Hallie Rowell of Bentonville; Jennifer Eason of Fayetteville; and Sarah Gipson of Little Rock.

They wore champagne-colored chiffon gowns with strapless pleated bodices. The maid of honor carried a bouquet of cream and hot pink roses while the attendants carried cream-colored roses.

Brandon Cowart of Bryant was best man. Groomsmen were Neal Elms of Little Rock, Ben Rowell of Bentonville and Josh Tennant and Jeremy Nordman, both of Conway.

A reception, also at the Villa Marre, followed the ceremony. Assisting were Kirsten Hartz, Erin Jeffrey, Kori Loetscher, Chantel Shuler and Madison Scott, cousin of the bride.

The bride graduated in May from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor's degree in communications.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and has a bachelor's degree in digital filmmaking. He is a media coordinator for Drake Waterfowl Systems.

After an Alaskan cruise, the couple will live in Olive Branch, Miss.
