LR police investigate Tuesday afternoon shooting

Little Rock police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon.

Sgt. Cassandra Davis of the Little Rock Police Department said police responded about 3 p.m. to a shooting report at 4305 W. 25th St.

When officers arrived at the scene, Davis said, the porch of the residence was “shot up,” but no victim was found.

UAMS Medical Center told police that a male gunshot victim had come into the hospital, and Davis said it was believed he had been injured in that shooting.

Information about the victim’s condition wasn't immediately available.

Davis said the shooter was driving a brown Nissan.
